Hi, I'm Monta-

the creative mind, the detail-obsessive, and the person who will make sure your proposal goes absolutely perfectly.

Oh, and I don't work alone — this is a family venture. Say ‘Hi’ to Emil — my partner in life and business.

I need movement and beauty in my life. Always.

I was born in Latvia and lived there for the first 18 years of my life.

For the next 18 years, I lived in Ireland, England, travelled through Europe in a camper van, stayed in Portugal for five months, then swung across the whole of Europe to call Albania home for four more — before ending up in Liechtenstein for two years, and now I've planted myself in the beautiful Rhine Valley of Switzerland.

I genuinely believe that life is too short and too rich to stay in one place.

This trait comes with its downsides, but it carries a wonderful gift — I can adapt, I can learn from many different sources, I can be free and yet feel safe anywhere.

Every move taught me something new, taught me to appreciate the differences between people and their cultures, sharpened my eye for beauty in unexpected places, and gave me a deep appreciation for things that actually matter.

What I've carried with me through every move, every new beginning, every new chapter — is a love for beautiful things. Photography. Décor. Colour. Composition. The way light falls, creates shadows and plays in the wind… mesmerising. I never formally studied any of it — I just couldn't stop doing it. I taught myself photography because I needed to capture what I saw. I made décor at home because I needed to create what I imagined. I filled rooms with beautiful things, and when I run out of space in the house for my latest creation — that's my cue to start something completely new.

What I didn't realise until recently is that all of those years of self-taught, passion-driven creating had quietly built something special — a genuine eye for aesthetics, a feel for beautiful composition, and an almost annoyingly precise ability to plan and organise. I can turn vision into beautiful reality. Turns out those are actual skills. Who knew!

The chapter that changed everything

For a long time, my biggest and most important project was my family. I am a devoted mama, and I believe deeply in the power of family — in showing up, in doing the everyday mundane things together without losing each other in the rush, in creating memories, in travelling and exploring, and in showing my children that the world is bigger and more beautiful than they can imagine. And yes, more challenging too — which is exactly how they learned to appreciate how lucky they are.

That chapter didn't leave much room for a career — and honestly, I wouldn't change it for the world.

But children grow. They become independent. And recently I found myself with something I hadn't had in a long time. Time. Energy. Creativity. And an enormous will to leave something beautiful in the world.

And that's when Perfect Proposal was born.

Why proposals specifically?

Here's the honest answer — and it's a little personal:

My own proposal was, to put it kindly, not exactly what I had dreamed of. As loving and amazing as my partner is — yes, we are still together, which makes this slightly awkward to admit — romance is not exactly his strongest suit. But as I love to say, it is what it is.

Here's the thing about proposals, though — there is only ONE. One chance. One moment. One memory that you carry with you forever.

I will help you make that moment MAGICAL — for you, for her, for both of your stories — so that when you look back, the memory of your proposal is absolutely, mind-blowingly beautiful. Not "it is what it is."

But my story isn't why I built this. Yours is.

Here's what I know from experience — planning a proposal is genuinely overwhelming. There are so many moving parts, so many decisions, so much to organise and coordinate and keep secret, and most men have never done anything remotely like it before. The pressure to get it right — for someone you love more than anyone — is enormous.

That's exactly the gap I wanted to fill.

Perfect Proposal exists to take every single one of those worries off your plate. The décor, the atmosphere, the photography, the champagne, the coordination — I handle all of it. On the day, all you carry is the ring, the excitement, and the nerves of your speech.

I brought together everything I love — photography, décor, organisation, beautiful details — and built something that exists for one purpose only. To make sure that when she turns around and sees what you created for her, she will never forget it. And neither will you.

The quiet engine behind it all.

I couldn't do any of this without my partner — the quiet force behind everything that makes Perfect Proposal work. While I handle the creative vision, the planning, the décor, and the photography, he's the one making sure the arch arrives in one piece, the champagne is perfectly chilled, and that everything runs smoothly on the day. You'll likely meet him at your location — and when you do, you'll immediately understand why I couldn't imagine doing this without him.

Together, we show up for your moment as a small, devoted, passionate team — because the most important moment of your love story deserves people who genuinely care about getting it right.

Let’s just say that we are your proposal buddies you never knew you needed.

A little more about me — because you asked.

I am based near Sargans in eastern Switzerland — a corner of the world so beautiful it almost feels unfair. I work with couples across Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and beyond — and yes, I will travel. For the right moment, distance is just a detail.

I speak English fluently and welcome clients from all over the world. Whether you're a Swiss local, an expat living here, or someone flying in specifically to propose in one of the most romantic countries on earth — you're in exactly the right place.

I also speak some German. Not fluently, not perfectly — but enough. And honestly? Between your English and my German, we'll figure it out together. We're not here to pass a language exam. We're here to create something magical. And for that — no fluency required.

And if you're wondering whether I'm the right person for this — just reach out.

I promise the consultation call will feel more like a conversation with a friend than a business meeting. That's just how I am.
